During our stay at Pension Irene, I appreciated the convenience of its location near the port, making it ideal for catching early ferries with ease. the family-run hotel had a tranquil environment, perfect for some much-needed relaxation. the older appearance of the hotel was noticeable, albeit the recent paint job on the exterior gave it a fresh look. Our room was comfortable, featuring a lovely balcony where we could unwind and enjoy the view. the antiquated feel of the room, coupled with dated amenities like unusable plug sockets, hinted at the need for a complete renovation. The outdoor swimming pool area was a highlight, providing a serene setting for lounging on the chaise longues and soaking up the Greek sun. the internet was accessible for free, a convenient option for staying connected during our visit. Overall, Pension Irene served its purpose as a base for our adventures on the island. the proximity to the port and bus station made it convenient for exploring, while the peaceful atmosphere and swimming pool provided moments of tranquility amidst our travels. If you seek a simple and no-frills accommodation, this hotel could be a suitable choice for your stay in Ios.
